St Louis Video Production | News Announcer Set Design

Let us create your virtual production set.  We can create a set design for a news environment at your location or at our studio to convey your message.  Businesspeople the world over have begun to discover the power of video marketing in large numbers. Those destined to succeed with this type of strategy must first devote sufficient time to learning what types of techniques work best and which may be far less effective.

St Louis News Announcer

Do not allow your shyness to stop you from taking advantage of video marketing. When you are looking into the camera, talk as if you were talking to an old friend. This is a very simple and effective way to help yourself get over the discomfort of talking to people you don’t know.  We are also well-versed in teleprompters and can show you how easy they can work for you to develop flawless delivery of your video message.

If you have a brick and mortar store, don’t think online videos can’t work to promote your business. They can, and do. Start with a video tour of your shop, introducing yourself and showcasing your best products and services. Done correctly, video marketing can help personalize your business and reach new customers. So, turn on that camera and show the world why they should trade at your shop.

Editing is essential to creating a quality video. While filming your video, do not hesitate to cut or do multiple takes. Upload your video files to your computer and use a quality editing software to put segments together, get rid of unnecessary scenes and perhaps add some captions or some music.

When you create a video for marketing purposes, your viewer has to believe you. Anything faked within the video, be it, your backdrop or your demeanor, will throw them off. If you want them to believe what you’re trying to tell them, be honest, transparent and come off as warm and friendly.

Video marketing has been responsible for some amazing success stories in recent years. We can help you create your own success story!

Who, What, When, Where, Why and How? Our Video Producers will show you the way.

These questions, initially devised to produce accurate news reports, are also used or adapted to solicit information for a variety of non-journalistic objectives, from scientific research and job interviews, to the census and police reports.
For our purposes, we are interested in applying them to the creation of non-fiction stories from documentaries to informational videos. The backbone of all stories remains the interview and represents the gateway to your objective as storyteller: to bring insight and understanding to your cause.

The yardstick we use to measure an interviewer’s skill is his or her ability to ask the right questions of the interviewee to get what the audience needs to hear. Entire bodies of work have been published around the subject of best practices for conducting successful interviews. Our producers understand these best practices and know how to use them.

Search Engine Optimization with Video Production Content

As competition for visitors becomes increasingly fierce online, optimizing your website for search engines is more important than ever. Most internet users never get past the first page of search results, so if your site doesn’t show up there, your traffic will suffer.

To reach the top of the search engine results page, your site needs to offer regular, fresh content. One good way to keep a stream of new content is by including video clips on your site. This will show the search engines that your site is active, and if your blog is interesting, it will naturally bring in more traffic.

Photographic images and video files on your server can present an opportunity to increase in the rankings, so be sure that you’re always saving files with keywords. For example: If you have an image on your site dealing with weight loss, like a before-and-after photo, make sure you include a relevant keyword in the title when you save the image.

Post videos of your products on the various video sites across the web. These video channels can open up your product or service to a whole new world of potential buyers who may never have visited your site on their own. Plus, these video channels tend to make it easy for a viewer to pass a link to a friend, essentially increasing you market reach with no more effort on your part.

Providing transcripts for any media content on your site will make it more accessible and make it visible to search engines. Transcripts can be read by search engines whereas verbal or audio media cannot. If a search engine can read your content, it is more likely to include it in its listings.

Determine your video length. If you have a lot of content it may help to break it up into a few videos. It makes it easier for the audience to digest and find the information they’re looking for. Attention spans are short and we rarely recommend a video longer than 5 minutes. You may want to try to cram in as much content as possible, but it’s best to be brief.

Your video production style can mean a lot of different things. Be careful to think of tone, pace, emotion, and other factors that will affect how your message and company will be perceived.

It can be easier than you think to boost your web site’s visibility by optimizing it with various and multiple video productions for the major search engines. Just apply the techniques you’ve learned in this article, and soon your traffic will increase.

Video production of a business owner

A video clip featuring the owner of the business is a great way to put a face to the name of your business. It doesn’t have to be an official interview, but it should clearly communicate why your business matters. Feature an interview with the owner of your business, where she or he explains what makes the company unique.

Video is particularly effective at showing the interactivity of products and services, especially if there’s more than meets the eye. When people can’t physically touch the goods, video can be a powerful tool to demonstrate how the products work. Showcase the unique personality of the owner and the business with their interaction with the company’s products or services.

Fox 2 News Report on St Louis Video Production Drones | Aerial Video and Photography

Here is a news report from Mandy Murphy, Fox 2 News about our firm.

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The FAA last week decided to allow commercial use of drones under strict guidelines.  The decision has been in the works since 2005 and still needs final approval.  Current rules for drones are to fly for recreation. If commercial you need a pilot’s license.  The new FAA rules allow for drones under 55 pounds, you must fly below 500 feet, further than 5 miles from an airport and not directly overhead of people.  You must maintain constant visual line of site with the drone.

Haller Concepts of South County is already using drones from commercial photography and video.  Safety is the most important aspect for Haller.  They always use a two-man crew.  One person operates the drone and keeps constant line of sight while the other watches the shot and directs the operator.  Haller and many others like them will get their certificate of authorization.

Technology is far outpacing government rules.  Law enforcement across the country are interested in using drones.  St. Louis Police have asked for permission from the FAA.  Groups like drone free St. Louis are opposed to police drones.  They want strict privacy rules from the government.

Right now, the new ruling does not allow for companies like Amazon to begin delivering packages using a GPS drone.  Line of sight is still required. It may take a year or two for the new FAA rules to be fully implemented.

Ten Rules for Shooting in High Definition Video | St Louis Video Production

1. Never overexpose high definition video. There is no process that can bring back burned-out highlights.
2. Control highlights: HD has trouble with them.
3. Avoid using gain whenever possible.
4. Control exposure when you can, but if not, err on the side of underexposure, not overexposure.
5. 23.98 frames per second (fps) this is the most frequent choice for narrative storytelling.
6. 29.97 fps is usually preferred for sports.
7. A potential problem is too much depth-of-field. This is not a problem with full frame HD cameras as we have.
8. Another problem is seeing too much detail in things like makeup, sets, and wardrobe.
9. Shoot at 23.98 fps or 29.97, not 24 or 30. This is important for audio sync.
10. There are times when you will need to shoot actual 24 or 30 fps; consult with your producer or editor.
