How much does a music video cost to make?

Every song needs a different creative approach, every artist and genre needs a different image and visual treatment.

We start by gathering basic information, we have the artist meet in our studio to discuss every aspect of the production, taking into account the best approach to sell their talents and the song. The more information and feed back we get from the artist, the more accurate we can budget for the production of a music video.

There are always ways to cut corners here and there and the best producer is the one that saves on every aspect of the Music Video Production process while getting the results the talent is looking for.

Think about and focus on a novel interpretation of the music and lyrics, as well as cinematography, location and editing that wraps all together in visual harmony.

Music Video Packages can start around $3000. and includes one filming location that we will professionally light, shoot and edit. And this is only a starting budget, as there can be many other variables. Do we have to hire talents? Do you need a crowd? Do you need a make-up artist? Do we need a Green Screen? All of these budget items put together, will give us an idea on how to budget for your Music Video!

We are always doing our best to keep production costs low and simultaneously get the results that you artistically desire. There are many ways to make a good music video with a good song and a talented artist.

Our St Louis producers worked on this corporate marketing video for Advantek. The St. Louis video crew responsible for the project included Mike Haller, producer; Dave Topping, Editor and Rob Haller, Director. The program was edited in two days using an Adobe based edit system. The video was shot and edited in St. Louis at our studio. In fact, post production, audio and music were also completed for the training video version of this production. The video was used for investors and marketers to promote the corporation. A web video was also produced and optimized for streaming and best practices SEO for video. St Louis Aerial Video and St. Louis Aerial Photography also helped in this production with the longer video version showing aerial photography and aerial video images of all north American Advantek locations. Shoot in High Definition Video

Consider if you need Aerial Filming (Helicopters/Planes), in some productions an aerial video or still images from a bird’s eye view are necessary to convey the information.

Will a single camera work?  Yes in most instances, but we do have the capability of Multi-Camera Shoots also.

Your Producer will help in your need for Specialized Equipment (Steadicams, Jibs, Dollies, Teleprompter, Makeup and other specialized artisans)

Video production for the small computer screen
Most internet viewers will be viewing your video production in a small window from their web browser. It’s important to create your video that looks good at a smaller size, viewed on a typical computer screen.

When viewing videos in a small window, details get lost. Don’t expect a video crowded with multiple objects to look good in a small web window. Smaller objects in the frame might simply disappear in the background blur.

The best looking videos for the web are those that work within the standard size of the internet display. Don’t place small, complex objects on the video set. It’s best to focus on a large, simple subject instead. Often the best solution is a talking head, positioned front and center in the frame. No fancy background, no tiny details, just the speaker’s face big in the frame.
