Over a longer video production shoot and on most quick shots, especially indoors, use continuous lighting. This will allow you to reproduce the exact lighting should you need to come back and shoot a similar testimonial at a later date.
We try to minimize uncontrollable natural light by blocking or covering of windows. For LED lights, we control the light spill with barn doors. It may sound funny, but we often create and craft specifically on set with cardboard and gaffer’s tape to direct and control the viewer’s eye to the area we wish to highlight.
Conversely, when shooting outdoors, harness and control the natural lighting from the sun. Place diffusers between the sun and the subject for a more balanced lighting effect.
Every video requires and calls out for good lighting. It’s unfortunate that many shooters, shoot and scoot too fast and don’t take the time to do it right.

Affiliate marketing is a tremendous opportunity to increase your online business and make seemingly easy money. However, given the relative youth of this market and the technical specifics involved, it can actually be quite a headache. This article contains tips and tricks that you can use to simplify matters and make more money doing it.
Video Production
Record a high quality video where you demonstrate an affiliate product then upload it to YouTube along with your affiliate link. YouTube is a great source for potential buyers, and if you provide an informative video about a product, people will be more inclined to buy the product through your affiliate link.
If you cannot say everything you need to say about a product or service in only a few sentences, then it’s probably better that you focus on other products. It’s better to avoid products that require lengthy video presentations. Usually you only have a short amount of time to grab a reader’s attention when they’re using the Internet. Choose products that only require a description that is short, sweet and to the point.
Consider making use of video sharing sites to boost your affiliate marketing program’s effectiveness. The financial outlay of this process is minimal; all you need to provide is a simple video extolling your affiliate vendors’ products and linking to your website. In return for this modest effort you may see a significant increase in website traffic and vendor sales.
When posting a review for an item you’re selling through affiliate marketing, make sure to include supporting information. For example, take photos of the item, or include a video of it being used. This will increase the trust people have in the fact that you actually know enough to be reviewing the item.
After your choose a niche for your affiliate marketing campaign, research one of the largest problems or questions related to your niche. Once you have done your research, create a video that solves most of the problem. Then, recommend a quality product that can solve the rest of the problem. Be careful to avoid making the video an overt sales pitch for the product. Instead, provide a lot of value and weave the recommendation seamlessly into your presentation.
To boost your affiliate sales, record a video of yourself demonstrating how to use the product you are promoting. This technique can work for anything from software programs to garden tools and everything in between. When visitors can see a demonstration of how a product will benefit them, they will be far more likely to buy it.
If you’ve purchased an item through your affiliate program and reviewed it, are you still using it? If so, mention on Twitter how much you love it. If you figure out an alternative use, share it on your site or on Facebook. Create another video of you using it in this other way and post a second review. You can’t just post once and expect sales to continue, you must stoke the flames!
Writing an affiliate review isn’t easy, but focusing on what the benefits are from buying and using the product and who might get the most use out of it is key. In your later post include some fun information, like an interview with the creator or a video of you using the product.
As mentioned earlier, affiliate marketing has the allure of easy money, but setting up things to generate those easy revenues can be hard. Apply the wisdom you have received from this article and all things affiliate marketing in your life, can actually be easier than you might have ever hoped and dreamed.
